Subscription and Billing

Manage your Infodeck subscription, view available plans, change your billing cycle, and update payment information.

Quick Summary

Go to SettingsSubscription and Billing to upgrade, downgrade, or manage your plan.


Before You Begin

Requirements
  • You must be an Organization Owner or Admin to manage billing
  • Payment requires a valid credit card

Accessing Subscription & Billing

  1. Click the Settings () icon at the bottom of the sidebar
  2. Under Organization Settings, click Subscription and Billing
  3. The subscription management page displays
Owner/Admin Required

If you see a blurred or locked view, you need owner or admin permissions. Contact your organization owner.

Infodeck offers several subscription tiers:

Viewing Your Current Plan

The subscription page shows:

Trial Progress (Trial Users)

If you're on a free trial:

  • Progress bar showing days used
  • Days remaining in trial
  • Color coding (green → yellow → red)

Changing Your Plan

Upgrade Your Plan

  1. Go to SettingsSubscription and Billing
  2. Review the available plans
  3. Toggle between Monthly and Annual pricing
  4. Click Select Plan on your desired tier
  5. Complete the checkout process
  6. Your new plan activates immediately
Annual Savings

Switch to annual billing to save 20% on your subscription.

Downgrade Your Plan

  1. Go to SettingsSubscription and Billing
  2. Select a lower-tier plan
  3. Confirm the change
  4. Downgrade takes effect at the end of your current billing period
Feature Loss

Downgrading may disable features you currently use. Review the plan comparison before downgrading.


Managing Payment

Update Payment Method

  1. Go to SettingsSubscription and Billing
  2. Click Manage Billing
  3. You'll be redirected to the secure billing portal (Stripe)
  4. Update your credit card information
  5. Save changes

View Billing History

  1. Go to SettingsSubscription and Billing
  2. Click Manage Billing
  3. View past invoices and receipts
  4. Download invoices as needed

Update Billing Address

  1. Access the billing portal
  2. Update your billing address
  3. This address appears on invoices

Enterprise Plans

For Enterprise features:

  1. Review the Enterprise plan details
  2. Click Contact Sales
  3. Our team will contact you to discuss:
    • Custom pricing
    • Volume discounts
    • Custom features
    • Dedicated support
    • SLA guarantees

Real-World Examples

Example 1: Upgrade from Basic to Professional

Situation: You need API access and data export features.

Solution:

  1. Go to SettingsSubscription and Billing
  2. Find the Professional plan
  3. Click Select Plan
  4. Choose monthly or annual billing
  5. Complete payment

Result: API Keys and Data Export are now available.


Example 2: Switch to Annual Billing

Situation: You want to save money on your subscription.

Solution:

  1. Go to Subscription and Billing
  2. Toggle to Annual pricing
  3. Select your current plan tier
  4. Complete the annual payment

Result: You save 20% compared to monthly billing.


Example 3: Update Expired Credit Card

Situation: Your payment failed due to an expired card.

Solution:

  1. Go to SettingsSubscription and Billing
  2. Click Manage Billing
  3. Update your credit card details
  4. Save the new payment method

Result: Your subscription continues without interruption.


Subscription Status

Active

Your subscription is current:

  • Full access to all plan features
  • Automatic renewal enabled

Trial

You're evaluating Infodeck:

  • Full access during trial period
  • No payment required until trial ends
  • Upgrade anytime to continue after trial

Grace Period

Payment issue detected:

  • You have 10 days to resolve
  • Full access maintained during grace period
  • Update payment method to continue

Suspended / Read-Only

Subscription expired:

  • View-only access to your data
  • Cannot create new items
  • Update payment to restore access

Cancellation

To cancel your subscription:

  1. Go to SettingsSubscription and Billing
  2. Click Manage Billing
  3. Select cancel subscription
  4. Complete the cancellation process

After cancellation:

  • Access continues until the end of your billing period
  • Account enters read-only mode after expiration
  • Data is retained for 90 days
  • Resubscribe anytime to restore access
Data Retention

Your data is retained for 90 days after cancellation. Resubscribe within this period to restore full access.

Billing FAQs

When am I charged?

  • Monthly: Same date each month
  • Annual: Same date each year
  • Trial: After trial period ends

Can I get a refund?

Contact support@infodeck.io for refund requests within 14 days of purchase.

What happens to my data if I cancel?

Your data is retained for 90 days. Resubscribe to restore access.

Can I pause my subscription?

Contact support to discuss temporary pause options for annual subscribers.
