What You Can Do with Work Orders

Understanding Work Order Status

Work orders move through these statuses as they progress:

OpenNewly created, not yet started
AcceptAcknowledged by the assignee
In ProgressActively being worked on
On HoldPaused, waiting for parts or approval
CompleteWork finished successfully
CloseVerified and closed out

Once a work order reaches Complete, Close, Skipped, or Cancelled status, it cannot be edited. If you need to make changes, use the Reopen option.
