How to Track Request Status
Monitor the progress of your work requests from submission through completion.
Quick Summary
Go to Requests in the sidebar, find your request in the list, and view the current status. Click on any request to see full details.
Before You Begin
- You must have submitted at least one work request
- All users can view their own requests
Viewing Your Requests
Step 1: Open Requests List
- From the left sidebar, click Requests
- Your requests appear in the list
Step 2: Find Your Request
Use filters to narrow down:

| Status | Pending, Accept, In Progress, Done, Reject, Cancel |
| Priority | None, Low, Medium, High |
| Location | Filter by building/floor/room |
| Date Range | Show requests from specific time period |
| Search | Search by subject text |
Step 3: View Details
Click on any request to see:
- Full description
- Attached images
- Status history
- Linked work order (if converted)
- Reviewer comments

Status Reference

Real-World Examples
Example 1: Check If Request Was Approved
Situation: You submitted a request yesterday for a broken printer and want to know if it's being addressed.
Solution:
- Go to Requests
- Look for your printer request in the list
- Check the Status column:
- Accept = Approved, check for linked work order
- Pending = Still awaiting review
- Reject = Click to see rejection reason
- If accepted, click to see the linked work order number
Result: You can see the request was accepted and work order #WO-2024-0587 was created and assigned to the IT team.
Example 2: Find Out Why Request Was Rejected
Situation: Your request for new office furniture was rejected and you want to understand why.
Solution:
- Go to Requests
- Filter by Status: Reject
- Find your furniture request
- Click to open details
- Look for the rejection reason in comments or notes
Result: The comment explains: "Furniture requests require department head approval. Please submit through procurement portal."
Example 3: Track Request Through Completion
Situation: You reported a plumbing issue last week and want to verify it was resolved.
Solution:
- Go to Requests
- Filter by Status: Done
- Find your plumbing request
- Click to view details
- Check:
- Completion date
- Linked work order details
- Any completion notes
Result: You confirm the issue was fixed on Tuesday, with a note that "pipe fitting replaced, tested for leaks."
Linked Work Orders
When a request is approved and converted:
Finding the Work Order
- Open the accepted request
- Look for Linked Work Order section
- Click the work order number to view details
Work Order Information
From the linked work order, you can see:
- Assigned technician
- Due date
- Current work status
- Completion notes
Getting Notifications
You receive notifications when:

Configuring Notifications
- Click your Profile icon (top right)
- Go to Notification Preferences
- Enable/disable request notifications
Filtering and Sorting
Quick Filters

Sort Options

Cancelling a Request
If you need to withdraw a pending request:
Step 1: Find the Request
- Go to Requests
- Find your pending request
Step 2: Cancel
- Click to open the request
- Click Cancel button
- Confirm cancellation
You can only cancel requests with Pending status. Once accepted or in progress, contact your manager.
Request Timeline
For each request, you can see the history:

Troubleshooting
Can't Find My Request
| Issue | Cause | Solution |

| Not in list | Wrong filter | Clear all filters, try "All" |

| Pagination | On different page | Check page count or search |
Status Not Updating

Can't See Work Order
